Group Values
Our focus in our Groups is on quality of discipleship.
We believe that Groups are the best vehicle for purposeful discipleship and meaningful connection. This happens by depending on the work of the Holy Spirit and focusing our Groups around Bible-based teaching, mutual accountability, authentic community, fervent prayer and living out the Great Commission. Our leaders have regular training to help them care, teach and lead our Groups. The goal is to help believers mature in their walk with Christ along an intentional discipleship path with a community of genuine followers of Christ.
Groups at Hope are for those who regularly attend Hope and we would ask that people attend Step 1: Meet and Step 2: Learn before joining a Group.

What to Expect
A typical Group meeting consists of Bible study, prayer and mutual accountability time (men with men, women with women) as well as fellowship. Bible books and sermon based curriculum is the common focus. Our groups normally meet in homes, businesses and our church offices.
Groups are filled with people of all walks seeking to grow in personal devotion to the Lord. Community and relationships are built with the goal of increasing mutual discipleship and mutual care.
We have expectations for group members and leaders to increase accountability, make space for vulnerability and increase in maturity. You can read our Social & Biblical Group Commitments.
